Cold Shot’s technologies solve these problems while delivering superior results. Our technicians apply their experience, penchant for rejuvenation and the most advanced dry ice and laser blasting tools to transform your surfaces to their original appearance. For vehicles, we apply advanced protective underbody coatings to create a durable armor against the wear and tear that driving and weather can inflict.
Cold Shot is a specialized surface-cleaning, restoration, and preservation company operating two complementary business lines -- Cold Shot Motorworks and Cold Shot Tradeworks. We provide our services in our shop and at our client’s place of business.
DRY ICE BLASTING
Dry ice blasting is unmatched in its power to remove dirt, grime, oil, grease and other contaminants without scratching, scraping or in any way damaging the surface. It is ideal for delicate surfaces and hard-to-reach areas. It does not use water or chemicals. It leaves no residue so no secondary cleanup required. Dry ice blasting is a completely dry, moisture-free and residue-free process.
Dry ice blasting uses recycled CO₂, making it an environmentally safe solution. It produces no toxic chemicals, no hazardous runoff, and no additional waste materials. It is compliant with EPA, FDA, and USDA regulations, safe for indoor use and ideal for sustainable operations.

LASER BLASTING
Compared to sandblasting or chemical cleaning, laser blasting is similar to dry ice blasting in that it is a non-abrasive, moisture-free, chemical-free way to clean with precision. Because the laser beam can be precisely controlled, laser cleaning allows selective removal of surface layers while maintaining the original surface structure. We use the laser primarily to remove rust.
A laser cleaning machine works by directing high-energy laser pulses onto a contaminated surface. The laser energy is absorbed by rust, paint, coatings or surface contaminants, causing them to evaporate or detach from the surface without affecting the underlying material.
UNDERBODY PROTECTION
Your vehicle’s underside is constantly exposed to harsh conditions — road grime, salt, mud, and moisture. These contaminants all contribute to corrosion over time. Left unprotected, the structural integrity of your undercarriage will be eaten away, leading to costly repairs.
